Brazil Replaces Belgium as Top NEV Export Destination

The geographic landscape of China’s auto exports is rapidly evolving. In the first half of 2026, Brazil officially replaced Belgium as the largest export market for Chinese NEVs, with exports reaching nearly 300,000 units (a 158% increase). This shift is heavily supported by Chinese automakers accelerating local manufacturing and KD (knock-down) assembly plant operations in Latin America.
